The Digital Bridges Over The Gender Gap project is an innovative, multinational initiative aimed at addressing gender inequality within the education system. Developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA220-SCH programme, this project seeks to dismantle gender stereotypes and promote inclusion and diversity by leveraging modern educational tools and methodologies.
Mission
Our mission is to dismantle gender stereotypes and empower young women through innovative digital education, fostering inclusive learning environments and promoting equal opportunities within the education system and beyond.
Vision
A future where gender equality is deeply ingrained in education, enabling all young people to pursue their passions and achieve their full potential, regardless of gender.
Strategy
Digital Bridges Over the Gender Gap will achieve its mission by:
Developing and implementing engaging, technology-driven educational resources, including an LMS with an e-learning course, VR and digital storytelling, to challenge gender biases and promote awareness of gender equality among students, teachers, and parents.
Providing targeted training and workshops for educators and parents to equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to counteract unconscious biases and foster inclusive learning environments.
Establishing a transnational network to facilitate the exchange of best practices and collaborative development of resources, ensuring the project’s sustainability and scalability.
Empowering young women through career exploration workshops, and access to role models in STEM and non-traditional fields, encouraging them to pursue diverse career paths.
